Your Tasks

  • Timely creation of production documents for the fitters in the hall (work plans and production orders) and reporting on progress in planning meetings
  • Reviewing parts lists (components and documents, 3D models).
  • Review workstations
  • Ensure optimal sequence of work steps
  • Describe assembly steps taking into account procedural instructions
  • Describe inspection steps taking into account procedural instructions
  • Review required production aids (consumables, tools, production equipment)
  • Coordinate the provision of materials (consumables and flight materials) at the workstations in close consultation with logistics
  • Coordinate the provision of production equipment at the workstations in close consultation with the MGSE manager
  • Bottlenecks in the availability of materials and production equipment
  • Reviewing changes made by the design department and determining the need for modifications
  • Instructing mechanical operators on complex tasks
  • Analyzing change requests from fitters and quality reports and determining the need for modifications to work plans and parts lists
  • Assessing the criticality of the need for modifications
  • Documenting the need for modifications
  • Implementing the changes
  • Continuously analyzing the implemented changes and reporting to the specialist department to improve standard processes and templates
  • Taking over assembly tasks in the clean room during peak periods
  • Analyzing the progress of production orders and determining the need for changes to the planned times in the work plans

Your Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, mechanical engineering, or are a technician (m/f/d)
  • You have already gained 2 years of professional experience in production/manufacturing and/or technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of MS Teams and PDM or SAP
  • Good communication skills in cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Independent working style, coordination and integration skills, assertiveness.
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel to follow the spacecraft to Environmental test und launch
  • Willingness to take over mechanical activities on demand
