Electrical Technician / Electrical Assembly Technician (m/f/d)
Permanent position, full-time · Northern Branch - Rieste
This position involves the electrical assembly, installation, wiring, and commissioning of custom-built machinery and industrial systems, both in-house and, when required, on national and international customer sites. The primary focus is on the professional execution of electrical installations, supporting machine commissioning, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, systems, and electrical assemblies.
The successful candidate will work independently, proactively, and in close collaboration with the Mechanical Design, Controls Engineering, Assembly, and Project Management departments. The objective of this role is to ensure the efficient assembly, reliable electrical performance, and on-time delivery of machines and systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Electrical Assembly: Assemble, install, and wire electrical components, assemblies, and control cabinets for custom-built machines and industrial systems.
- Commissioning Support: Assist with the commissioning of machines and systems, including functional testing, signal verification, and coordination with the Controls Engineering team.
- Installation and Adjustment: Install, connect, and configure sensors, actuators, drive systems, and control components according to technical specifications.
- Maintenance and Service: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing on machines, systems, and electrical assemblies.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain inspection, assembly, and commissioning documentation and communicate technical modifications to the relevant departments.
Your Profile
- Qualifications: Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, such as Electrical Technician, Industrial Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional Experience: Experience in electrical assembly, machine building, plant engineering, of industrial maintenance is an advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, wiring, sensors, actuators, drive technology, and ideally pneumatics and the fundamentals of industrial control systems.
- Working Style: Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach with strong technical understanding and a high level of quality awareness.
- Communication: Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with internal departments and customers during on-site assignments.
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel for national and international installation and commissioning assignments.
- Language Skills: Good command of German, both written and spoken; English skills are an advantage.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class B driver’s license required

This is a long-term, permanent position within our Electrical Assembly and Commissioning team. It offers a varied and technically demanding role in custom machine engineering with a high level of responsibility and close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
