Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Upper Stages Design Layout for our prestigious client in the field of aerospace industry in Bremen.
Your responsibilities:
General and detailed 3D design activities taking into account: Design and manufacturingrequirements and processes. Functional requirements (e.g. segregation rules for the electricalsystem, pressure, temperature, max. pressure drop) Mechanical requirements (frequency andstress) Integration sequence and accessibility
Establishment and update of 3D models and assemblies in Catia V5 / Teamcenter
Elaboration and update of 2D documentation, ready for manufacturing
Elaboration of bills of material and release of associated data packages in link with SAP
Implementation and documentation of changes acc. to configuration management process
Evaluation and processing of non-conformances with design impact

Your profile

Completed studies in Aerospace Engineerin, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Several years of work experience as a Design Engineer
Good knowledge of design and development processes, considering manufacturing andindustrialization needs
Good imagination in 3D. Preferably first experience in 3D annotations for implementation of PMI (product manufacturing information)
Very good knowledge in MS-Office and Catia V5
First experiences in PLM-T, in particular TeamCenter and SAP would be beneficial
Fluent German and English skills both spoken and written
Knowledge in French would be beneficial
