Your prospective job:

For our client Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Bremen.

Your responsibilities:
Ability to design structure components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured using appropriate design tools
Ability to verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward baseline of validated requirements for a single sub-system / equipment / component / module
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth

Your profile

A degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification
Many years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, aerospace and design
Very good knowledge of Catia V5
Knowledge of Catia V6
Detailed Design Knowledge of structural elements / components
VPM knowledge
Understanding of manufacturing processes and non-metallic materials
Negotiation-proof knowledge of German and English in spoken and written language
