Systems Engineering Architect (m/f/d) - Avionics

Your Tasks

• Lead the design of the Avionics architecture of the satellite
• Define and develop the Avionics Architecture of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and HW performances
• Manage the avionics subsystems (data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, crypto) during detailed design and testing phases as design authority
• Interface management and control on physical level and across the protocol stack
• Development risk management and mitigation
• Test planning and supervision
• Non-conformance closure

Your Qualifications

• A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification
• Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain
• Professional experience leading technical teams of at least 2 domains
• Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
• Proven capability to deliver project results in time and budget
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
