System Engineer (m/f/d) - Earth Observation

Your Tasks

• Drive the development of an Earth observation constellation satellite
• Close collaboration with the Engineering and PA/QA team to perform system engineering tasks
• Preparation/support of proposals and studies in close collaboration with the predevelopment department to ensure the platform implementation meets the mission objectives
• Preparation of necessary documentation
• Implementation and management of project schedule and budget
• Definition and execution of project goals in collaboration with and according to company strategy and future missions’ needs

Your Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
• Good understanding of space missions and their constraints and challenges
• Good understanding of satellite and platform design
• Ideally knowledge of the particular constraints and challenges of earth observation missions
• Highly proactive working style
• Accustomed to work in teams
• Ability to self-organize the work and react on changes during the project
• Good organizational skills
• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
