Subsystems Engineer (m/f/d) - Software-Defined Radio

Your Tasks

• Design and simulation of software-defined radio equipment for radar applications
• Preparation of subsystem specifications
• Conduct and coordinate internal equipment development activities
• Technical management for planning, initiating and supervising procurement contracts with external equipment suppliers
• Providing independent technical assessments to both project level and customer system level and subsystem reviews
• Contribute to planning, coordination, and control of subsystem verification activities
• Preparation of presentation materials and reports to project management

Your Qualifications

• University degree in telecommunications engineering, RF/microwave engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the fields of programmable logic (FPGAs)
• In-depth knowledge of SW-defined radio and radar systems including constitutive building blocks and good understanding of signal processing concepts
• Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
• Well developed team working and communication
• Good negotiation skills
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
