Software Engineer (m/f/d) SCSW Product Owner

Your Tasks

• Taking over the Product Owner role for Satellite or Instrument Control Software , interfacing between software team and system team Managing and prioritizing the software product tasks
• Ensuring the information flow into the software product team
• Identify, control and reduce software product risks
• Control technical progress, schedule, cost and quality
• Lead the control and evaluation of changes that impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project

• Creation of technical concepts and requirements for Satellite Control Software and Instrument Control Software
• Preparation and conducting technical reviews.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Expertise and experience in software engineering, in particular state-of-the-art requirements engineering and software design
• Knowledge of real-time embedded platforms (RTOS, embedded Linux, ...), as well as communication interfaces; experience with projects in the context of avionics systems is a plus
• Strong team player, analytical thinking and organizational skills
• Quality awareness and application of standards such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or comparable (e.g. DO-178B)
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation
• Fluency in spoken and written English
