Digitalization and digital transformation are not just buzzwords for us, but the key to efficient logistics services. Our internal IT department, with more than 300 employees, supports Hellmann's more than 10,000 employees worldwide in making the logistics chain more efficient for our customers.
We are currently undergoing an HR transformation and are in the middle of a global implementation and rollout phase. We are replacing our distributed, heterogeneous HR silo solutions in individual countries with an integrated, globally unified HCM solution and have chosen Workday through a selection process. This aims to ensure optimized standardization and digitalization of our processes and an optimal experience for applicants, employees, managers, and HR staff.
As a Senior Inhouse IT Workday HCM Consultant (m/f/d), you will be part of the internal HCM Product, Support & Governance team. Together, you will be responsible for the implementation, rollout, and continuous development of the Workday HCM Suite as a leading and forward-looking personnel management system at Hellmann worldwide. You are part of the IT team but work very closely and intensively with the HR colleagues and the project team of the implementation partner during the rollout.

About the Job
- You are responsible for planning and implementing the deployment, data migration, and rollout of various Workday modules in the countries of the Hellmann organization.
- You provide highly qualified, professional, and technical consulting and support to HR colleagues in optimally mapping Hellmann's HR target processes in the Workday solution.
- You ensure the best possible coverage of processes by the HCM tool while making optimal use of the tool's standard processes.
- You conduct gap analyses and solution design for necessary regional/local requirements and process adjustments.
- You carry out complex configurations in the HCM tool on behalf of and in coordination and cooperation with the HR process owners.
- You analyze new Workday HR solution features of new versions and create and evaluate use cases within the Hellmann organization.
- You ensure optimal process and data integration of the HCM solution into the Hellmann application landscape, especially with local payroll systems (interfaces).
- You participate in 2nd level support for technical and process disruptions in the system.
- You see the further skill ramp-up in the HR and IT team regarding Workday processes, data, and interfaces as an integral part of your role.
About You
- You have a completed university degree, ideally with a focus on IT, business administration, or human resources.
- You have at least three years of experience in configuring the Workday HCM Suite, with a focus on HCM, security, and recruiting.
- Ideally, you have knowledge in the area of HR reporting in Workday as well as the integration of Workday with other (payroll) systems in a complex enterprise application landscape.
- Ideally, you have a solid understanding of HRM processes and enjoy IT digitalization technologies.
- You have solid knowledge and experience in project management and agile methods (SCRUM, KANBAN).
- You have extensive knowledge of O365 applications.
- You have a high service and customer orientation, intrinsic motivation for the further development of the product and the team, are resilient and well-organized.
- A high level of responsibility and quality awareness as well as initiative, conflict resolution skills, and decision-making orientation round off your profile.
- You have good German and English skills.
