What do you contribute?
You will monitor and actively manage project opportunities and mitigate risks, internal and external.
In addition, you will work as project execution core team member supporting the project-teams in seeking new opportunities within existing projects. In doing so, you will identify deviations in the services considering the conditions contractually provided.
You will also record, verify and bill additional and supplementary services to existing contracts, including preparation of detailed and well cost proposals.
Furthermore, you will prepare, in coordination with the project team, detailed extension of time proposals including justification for acceleration and prolongation costs where appropriate.
Next to this, you will interface an additional function to contract management and key internal and external stakeholders.
What do you bring along?
You bring a completed engineering, quantity surveying or construction related bachelor’s degree.
Next to this, you do have long-term professional experience in project/contract/claims management of (international) infrastructure projects (preferably railway signaling).
You are a professional and a member of a construction or quantity surveying related professional organization.
In addition, you understand the complex usually design build contracts and have experience in negotiating and/or reviewing such kind of contracts.
You are experienced in costing, providing evidence when billing additional and supplementary services and negotiating these supplements in projects.
Furthermore, you bring in knowledge of scheduling programmes such as Primavera and deadline monitoring such that you can coordinate with programmers and understand the causes and impact of delay events.
English is mandatory + additional languages would be a plus. Intercultural sensitivity and willingness to travel (approx. 30%) round off your profile.
