For permanent employment the Navigation department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
System Engineer (m/f/d) Navigation Payload RF

Your Tasks:

  • Support design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex projects, including the identification of the proper model philosophy approach, in compliance with relevant project’s schedule and cost targets
  • Manage and control Navigation payload System and Sub-System requirements
  • Monitor and control Navigation payload performance allocation and Budgeting
  • Monitor all aspects of the Navigation payload development (design implementation and verification/testing), up to the qualification and acceptance verification activities, to ensure the required payload and system navigation performance are met
  • Participate and support to the Payload procurement process
  • Ensures completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints
  • Coordinate and align multiple stakeholders needs to ensure the project’s deliverables meet their expectations
  • Support and contribute to the definition of strategies and solutions, including the implementation of Artificial Intelligence algorithms, for interference detection, localization, classification and mitigation for the GNSS spectrum

Your Qualifications:

  • University Master’s degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, SW, Microwave, RF or Electronics Engineering
  • Solid background and at least 3-years working experience on design and development of Radio Frequency Payloads
  • Deep knowledge of GNSS Navigation Systems and Sub-systems
  • Competences and experience on the following topics: Signal processing, use of MATLAB and simulation environment
  • Experience in AI computational techniques and algorithms
  • Experience in Algorithms for GNSS interference detection and localization
  • Self-managed, result-oriented and pro-active working style
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of another European language is an advantage
